How do I upgrade my computer?
Send us the make and model of computer and we'll let you know what can be upgraded and how much it'll cost.
Common upgrades
The most common components to upgrade in a computer are the storage drives and the memory also known as RAM. We replace the slower, noisy and battery draining spinning mechanical hard drives with completely silent solid state drives. This results in an insane decrease in the time it takes for your computer to turn on and for programs to load.
Not so common upgrades
Other components such as a more powerful processor, graphics card or power supply are also upgrades that can be done to a regular office computer to turn it into a gaming pc. Swap out regular boring cooling fans for fancy ones with colourful lights on them.
Rare AF upgrades...
If you are in the music production or audio scene and are still using a basic computer, you may want to get a good sound card upgrade for high quality audio processing.
Do you film a lot of heavy high quality videos and need lots of storage? Your motherboard may not have enough capacity to connect more than 4 to 8 drives, so you need a RAID card. A RAID card allows to connect lots of drives and have them show up as one gigantic singular drive in your software.
Do you record gameplay videos and the recording software decreases the performance of your entire computer while it's recording? Well, you need a capture card. It goes in between the output of your graphics card and the input of your monitor and captures your display independently.
